Marist is a pretty good team and let's face it we are a solid team this year but we have a lot of faults as well.

honestly I think we need pop, hallie, and anna on the court at the same time.

I'd get Anna off the floor, her offense doesn't outweigh the liability she is in turnovers and defense today.

I have to agree with a previous poster. ISU is in a rut, we need to recruit 5 people that will actually shoot the ball. Too much standing around and waiting for someone else to shoot it. These offensive woes are getting really old.

This is a 7-10 game, not a 2-15 one. Unlike ISU, Marist is actually ranked.

There's a half to go, for sure, but as I said Monday, Marist to me is the best #10 team. So many weapons. They're playing relaxed, and we're tight. Also, they seem to have just as much (if not more) athleticism than we do.
A physical, pressing team defense will bother Marist. But that's not ISU.

So no one should ever lose to Gonzaga on the men's side? Pretty much the same thing. Solid teams every year but they aren't in the known conferences.

Well, Anna looks awful today. Pop looks awful today. Hallie's in over her head on defense and knowing when and how to rotate. The guards are all sloppy with the ball. The only player on the floor who even looks like she's trying is Bolte.

I just don't think the Sisters quite caught fire this season. This isn't shocking me too bad (although I never expected to be down 19 points 2 minutes into the second half.

I agree with this. I also predicted (with others) that Marist could really give us a game and that we were in danger before the game started. That being said I never thought we would be down by this much.

Someone besides Bolte has to shoot the ball. Also, why don't our posts ever kick the ball out when they get a rebound? It would be different if they actually made some put backs but we usually end up missing them anyway.

Anyone trying to defend the performance so far from ISU by saying Marist is a good team......I will bet you a brand new $100 bill Duke beats them by 20+.

Yeah, like the rest of the country cares about that. Like the Hampton upset, I bet ESPN will use this game on there highlight reel for years to come.
