Announcer does have a nice point that time. Volleyball is a very TV friendly sport, and a very exciting sport.

All the built-in drama hooks people easily.
The court is a great size for TV. Easy for cameras to follow.

I think the hardest part has to be scheduling. A match can vary pretty widely in length depending on if it is a quick 3 set rout or a 5 set match close through every set.

They had no idea that the ref felt that we made contact with that ball. They barely watch the match at all.

not only do I have ****** quality so I can't see that stuff like that happens (I just follow the ball), but the announcers are off in their own little reminiscing corner.
