He loved ISU many of us loved him. He couldn't get the job done so we found a guy who may. Time will tell

Full of sentimentality, I wanted him to get "one more year" ("all those close losses, they coulda been 8-4!" etc), but now am glad it happened how it did.
Clean break (chance to coach final game), fresh start for everyone, new coach with momentum instead of risk of another down year, and CPR is doing just fine ($350k to be a position assistant!).
So I am still full of sentimentality, happy it seems to have worked out fine.

I was at this first aid seminar and they wouldn't shut up about CPR.
Winning percentage for both are actually rather low.

I have considered Paul Rhoads a friend since the mid 90s. He is a good man. Like most of us, he does not win at everything he attempts. When things do not go well he picks himself up and gives 100% to his next endeavor. That folks is not too shabby of a role model.
