Did we recruit a 5-star the year after Purdy signed? I must have missed that.
He will be in the transfer portal in 2 years.
I'd wager my first born that he miraculously get a large ratings bump in the next 30-45 days
Well, this particular five star isn’t just a “five star” he’s supposed to be the best QB recruit since Trevor Lawrence, the Clemson QB. So...

Couldn't be. Iowa fans have told us in the recruiting board he is nothing but a MAC level recruit.
Probably not a bad call - if this is not a good year for Texas there will be a new coaching staff in Austin.
There is a short list of bullsh*tters that could go into a three star QB's living room, look him, his mother and his father in their eyes, and tell him that he has a shot to beat out the GENERATIONAL talent coming in the next year.

It’s a bummer but you can’t fault him. As CyFanatics, would you rather be a career backup at Iowa State(injury’s happen you might get some starts), or go to Kansas?
Would you prefer playing for Herman or CMC?
Pee Wee Herman has one, maybe two years left at Texas. Then he'll be gone, off to the Alamo to find his lost bicycle.
