I haven't listened for years but Condom may have a serious gambling problem. They'd start talking about the line on some random NEC or SWAC basketball game on a Tuesday night that he had money on.
He wants to make listeners think he’s a big time player

What I like about their format is that they keep the show moving. They don't linger on any one topic for very long.

And they actual keep their show topic to sports. With the other shows it's half sports half non sports.

There's a lot of gamblers who pick obscure sports or leagues and become experts on that. It's like the one way to potentially find inefficiencies and value on lines. Big college leagues and pro sports have so many data ponts bookmakers hardly miss. Bulgarian 2nd league basketball No one's gonna know old Vladimir vostrosky has been drinking again and shows up hungover. Note I don't think that's the case here.

Sounds like Miller and Palm will have an Iowa Everywhere gambling pod. I don't mind it because podcasts you can be pretty selective on whether you want to listen or not.

I think he has opened his own handicapping service from it though. They kept track of his daily picks he did on air over a year period and he was hitting at around 65% I believe. If he has a problem then he is making $ having that problem and getting free travel out of it because Vegas is bringing him there whenever he wants

No idea what the case is here, but if a casino is comping your trips, it’s not because you’re a consistent winner.

And actually that is a false assumption people make on comps with sportsbooks. They are looking at how much you bet on your players card. They do not look at win loss from those bets. if you are betting large sums every time you come for a trip they will send you comps. Sports book is different then casino because they swipe your players card on the amount you bet but that swipe does not show what you bet on so they do not know if you actually won or lost on it

I cannot listen to Sean roberts. If your dream job is your own sports talk show in your local listening area you shouldn't spend the years leading up to getting that show trashing the team whose fans make up a majority of that listening area.

Every time I got excited about gambling, my papa reminded me that those big, glossy casinos weren't built with winners money.

I don't know why I still listen to this, but I think I'm about done.

This morning was brutal. Travis thought a tweet from barstool was hilarious (the one saying last night's NFL snooze game was as boring as women's basketball) and got all defensive when CF's own Steph Copley called him out on it. They spent an hour defending Barstool and themselves against misogyny.

By 7:25, they still hadn't talked about either the Iowa or Iowa State game this weekend.
