The Cyclones are very fortunate to have these two great men representing the university . Not only great players, but men of awesome character. We can’t lose today. One of the Cyclone family is going to the Superbowl.

Not sure that's true. For example, a lot of people couldn't even tell you where Mahomes went to college. It's fun for alumni is about it.
Exactly. I want both to play great and this to be an offensive shootout. I would say I'm fine if Lions win as well, as long as both DM and Purdy do well. The thing is QB is the most important and most watched position in FB. QB literally touches the ball every play. So, that means Purdy is more important to his team and why I'd favor just a bit the 49ers doing better.
But, I don't think there's really people rooting against DM. I just want both to ball out.
