Which Iowa border state would you be most afraid of in a state vs state civil war?

Which one?

What really should happen would be to form an alliance with these states plus Indiana, Michigan, and Kansas. We could starve the rest of the country. We may want to get Canada to join so that we have better access to ocean ports.

I don’t think you could get the Chicago gangs to focus on not killing each other and the rest of Chicago would hide in their closets. So, I’m definitely going with Wisconsin.

That's why this is a hard discussion none of these states would actually divide and fight each other based on the state they live in. The divide would be urban vs rural
Yeah, there would be no state level loyalty. Rural Minnesota literally tried to join the Dakotas during COVID.

The rest of Illinois despises Chicago.

It's part of why an actual civil war is extremely unlikely in this country. The divide is urban vs rural, not state vs state.

Most of the food we eat comes from California... The pigs and cows would starve more than humans in this scenario.

Can we please name this divide correctly? It's meth vs crack.

If you were just cruising, sure. If you're actually hunting you know you better know exactly who's land you're on and where you are.

Hey when your shooting out of the vehicle window it all looks the same.:D:p

There’s some wild state territory stuff that has happened. It will never happen due to the legal hoops. Part of Oregon desperately wants to be Idaho. Who knew those potatoes were so desirable?!?

I laughed at the Chicago rural fight, as if every metro in every state around Iowa isn’t viewed the same way. Throw in Des Moines too.

There’s no way Kansas doesn’t attack Misery as soon as they’re engaged with Iowa.

Yeah, we're just at a point where outside of a couple New England states, all of rural America votes red and all of urban America except for maybe OKC votes blue. Red states and blue states are determined by % of urban vs rural population.

Of course Nebraska and the Dakotas have all of the Nuclear Weapons.
Hey! The USS Iowa SSN 797 will be commissioned in a few months. It also carries nukes.

Hmmm, let me check. . . . Crap, Missouri also has one, and Minnesota, and Illinois, and South Dakota. We better reach a nuclear weapons accord before war: No nukes.

Anyone know the size of the smallest Mississippi River locks between the Gulf and Iowa? The Iowa submarine is 377 feet long and has a 34-foot beam (on the surface, maybe draws 25 feet?) Get USS Iowa boat SSN 797 to Davenport, we got a shot!
