    I think the second part holds the most truth. Families can live on an acreage but still send kids to school in the larger community where parents go to work every day. I grew up in an area like this, and the population has certainly grown in the 25 years since I've left, but class sizes remain...

    Living in Tulsa, I can say it was very overcast today. Add in the wind with 40 mph gusts, and it would be very difficult to track. A friend who works in the sports video business and has worked many golf tournaments (not under contract for the PGA) agrees.

    I think they correctly called the flop technical. What I'm curious about, though, is why count the basket? The flop was before he made his move to shoot. I'm curious how the rule works. Should the shot have been waved off instead of a 4 point momentum swinging possession?

    Worst rated beers

    I brew my own beer - everything from Hefeweizen to IPA and lager to stout. But I always have domestic light beer in the refrigerator - usually Busch Light. It is perfect the drink after a long bike ride / run, or working in the yard / mowing.

    I agree that it could be a poor trend. I finished behind 3 of my classmates when measuring GPA, but my but I took far more advanced classes than any of them. I also had an ACT score ranging from 2 to 4 points higher than each of them.

    They never reset the shot clock after the Xavier offensive foul (left it at 17 seconds). Then after the media timeout we got a shot clock violation. WTF!?!

    Yeah I understand, i really do But I also think if they REALLY want to protect players every time forcible contact is made to the head or neck or should be targeting. That's the whole intent, right? Train players to not hit their opponent in the head and reduce potential concussions?

    Ok let's go with that - it was just a dream hit. I'm ok with it not being called and being an awesome hit. Why wasn't Young's a dream hit a year ago then too instead of having to sit out the WHOLE DAMN GAME?

    I don't have a huge problem with former players and coaches being media personalities after retirement, but at least try to have some journalistic form of objectivity. Stoops has zero amount of this and is a SoonerHawkeye douche!

    Friday OT #1 - The Time Is Right

    Tree and a few inside decorations go up on Black Friday or the weekend after Thanksgiving. I HATE messing around with outside lights on the roof, etc. But every year, I seem to get talked into doing it anyway!

    The bolded part could not be more true! It was just 10 years ago that some CONFERENCE games were not even televised at all and many were relegated to that obscure FCS channel!!

    Exactly. When they lost consecutive conference games last year to KSU and then ISU, it had been a very long time since that had happened. I can't imagine how long it has been since they lost THREE conference games in a row!

    Oklahoma, instead of having a non-conference game on ESPN+, sells pay-per-view subscriptions ($40 I think) for one game per year. From the sounds of it, our fans would practically lose their **** if they had to pay that to watch one game.
