The first in season Intermat rankings are out. Though only about half the teams kicked off their season over the weekend so there is still a lot of question marks that haven't been sorted out. The only change for ISU is Weatherspoon dropping to 10th at 174 after his loss on Friday.
A couple of things worth noting
-Alex Kocer from SDSU, who beat Weatherspoon, is now ranked 12th after he also beat #16 ranked Micah Barnes from Nebraska over the weekend.
-Markus Simmons beat the #3 ranked guy in NIAA before losing in OT 9-7 to #16 Freddie Rodriguez of SIU-Edwardsville in the Grandview Open finals.
-Nathan Rotert from SDSU jumped up to #5 at 197 despite losing to Downey on Friday night after he took out Studebaker from Nebraska over the weekend. It is safe to assume that Downey would be ranked 5th at worst at 197.
Harold Nichols this weekend. Since I don't know what schools will actually have all their starters there I haven't highlighted anybody.
