Michael Conforto pulled a Derek Dietrich by leaning into a pitch that was strike to draw the HBP for a walkoff. Umps reviewed and upheld the call.

Ya I saw that live I'm not sure I agree with the umps there. There's an art to not moving out of the way actively but that was leaning in. Live on tv I mean.

My early nominee for the Jacoby Ellsbury Glass Man Fragility Award is Aaron Judge. Not as bad as "Glassbury" since they are not paying him $20M/year but still the dude should have a huge FRAGILE printed on his jersey. Unless he can stay in the lineup the Yanks will let him go after 2022 to free agency.

Padres Joe Musgrove has a no-hitter going thru 8 innings. MLB Network suppose to carry the last inning.

1969 I’ve lived here for twenty of those years and we have had some close calls. The local kid finally pulls through. Can’t believe a kid from San Diego is the one to make it happen What an awesome moment.
This is a crazy stat:

Well, darn it, wrong high school though. ;) Point Loma High School in SD has two perfect game guys, Don Larsen and David Wells, a trifecta for no-hitters would have been cool.

My back yard looks over the center field fence of Point Loma High School’s David Wells field. He was their coach until a few years ago. Go Pointers!

Gotta give the Ray's Philips some props. He got robbed of a triple, probably an inside the park homerun, but gave outfielder Gardner a little salute on the catch. That's pretty good sportsmanship.

They would be better off just calling games ties after 9 innings rather than this weird runner on 2nd thing. Or at least play it straight up till the 12th or something.
