Tre Jackson is having a rough start to his 5th year. His team is doing really well though. 6-0 with wins over Notre Dame, McNeese St, and Middle Tenn.
I have not caught any of UND's games yet, but he plays quite a bit from the look of it. Rebounds well from the guard position and must be playing well defensively or something in order to stay on the court. God knows it isn't his offensive prowess at this point. Toward the end of the regular season last year, when he came in for spot minutes during the TJ "clear the bench" games, I thought he looked ok. Until he took a shot attempt. Could be his offensive game is just that unrefined. Reminds me a little of Jakolby Long.Eli King is bad. Really bad. I thought he would be a good fit at a lower level Summit League team. Still early but not working out so far.

Tough to get in NBA at 6'0 anyway, making extra money now then can head to Europe.I did not realize the roster situation at Texas. I figured Carr was gone, but thought Rice had another year and Hunter would be playing second fiddle to him. Also thought the addition of Abmas would eat into Tyrese minutes and production, but given what Torvik is saying, Tyrese must be dead set on trying to play the 2. I don't see how that gets him into the NBA, but maybe he is ok with just getting a bag of cash or two and being a good, maybe potentially great college guard. Unless Texas plans to use Abmas and Tyrese interchangeably at PG? Idk, I hate Texas but that will be a fun situation to monitor.
i believe Williams wouldve helped ISU had he not gotten injured
2 games at Rutgers
10 pts 6 rbs and 2 asst vs Michigan
14 pts 5 rbs and 1 steal vs Maryland
thoughtsStats for past ISU players 2024 season:
Terrence Lewis (Grambling State) - 7.8ppg/2.2 rpg/.3 apg
Xaiver Foster (SMU) - 0ppg/.5rpg/0apg *What a bust
Tre Jackson (Western Carolina) - 13.6ppg/3.3rpg/1.9apg
Jaden Walker (Eastern Carolina - 5.5ppg/3ppg/1/5ppg
Tyrese Hunter (Texas) - 10.9ppg/2.6rpg/4.4apg
The All ISU Transfer team:
PG Jeremiah William (Rutgers) 12.5ppg/5rpg/1apg *only played two games this year
SG Caleb Grill (Missouri) 8.4ppg/5.8rpg/1.4apg *out for the year wrist injury
SF Darlinstone Dunbar (Hofstra) 18.3ppg/7.2rpg/1.4apg
PF Blake Hinson (Pittsburg) 18ppg/5rpg/.6apg
PF Tristan Enaruna (Cleveland State) 19ppg/6.4rpg/2.8apg
*would have to play three forwards no center, unless you slot Foster in lol.
This all ISU transfer team would make a good run I think. All offense not a lot of defense.

At this point Foster doesn't care.thoughts
- wouldnt be shocked at all to see Dubar back at a high major for his COVID season in 2024-25
- can Grill apply for a MED RS and come back to CBB in 2024-25?
- Hinson wasnt going to fit the C5C TJ built but man can he score.
- wonder if Foster trys to transfer again or is just content being a bench player? would align with all the talk of his lack of basketball passion
According to this article, looks like Grill probably could get a medical redshirt. It says the requirements are a season-ending injury that happens in the first half of the season, with fewer than 30% of the season's games played. Grill played 9 games and Missouri has 31 regular season games, working out to 29% of games played.thoughts
