Yeah, he always gets talented guys, wins 25 games, and then chokes on applesauce in big games.

IDK if he gets out-smarted, or he gets tight and can't calm his guys down, or what. But his NCAA performance is atrocious. Here's the bottom of the PASE chart the past 10 years.

Jesus Shaka. I guess I never realized how much his entire reputation rides on that crazy run in his first ever NCAA tourney. Made 9 tournaments since then with only 3 wins, hasn't made it past the first weekend.

People are so locked in on Purdue and their history of early exits, so this year is the year they will probably make a run.

Way up there
Houston beat Tech by over 20 the first time around, it's not a great matchup for them. Houston is obviously awesome but we match up much better, probably better than any other big 12 team. We've gone punch for punch with them twice, I'm not reading too much into this score. I'd love another shot at them.
