Maybe redundant to some comments/opinions already posted but my two-cents-worth:

Started every game for Central Michigan as a freshman and averaged almost 18 ppg. Shot 39% from the field which wasn't great but looks to have proved she can play at the next level up in the 2nd half of the season with TCU although she never started any games for the Frogs. Certainly an upgrade over departing senior Diew IMHO. Guessing if we had to play a game with the current roster she would start at F. Not the PF some are looking for but she's got good size and can shoot the three so really fills the Diew/Bristow void.

Goofy name and new guy on Twitter for WBB but he's predicted a lot of stuff over the last few weeks and been correct. His latest "hint" this AM is one for ISU.

Bad news: we still have only ten players on the roster for next season.
Good news: the talent density on the roster is off the charts.
I have to imagine this is what the future is going to be for us. We will lose high school recruits who don't play and we probably won't go for transfers who we don't think will be significant contributors. To draw in significant transfers we are going to need to promise playing time and we can't do that if we use all of our scholarships. It will be interesting to see if they try to add more walk-on types just to fill the roster a bit.

The risk of this is we loose a few to injury and we are like TCU from this year forfeiting games.

One additional note: this balances out the classes a bit, because we had nobody on the roster who would be a junior next season.

We actually have two entire empty years of classes -- after the big class including Ryan, we brought in only three freshman over the next two years (Fritz, Vick, Dawkins). Fritz was the only one who contributed much statistically, and all three transferred. If Ryan weren't staying her covid season, the entire roster would be freshmen and sophomores (prior to these transfers).
