Interesting. JC offensive tackle offered. From Snow College on Utah, and Bishop Gorman HS in Las. Vegas. Offers include Auburn, ASU and Houston.

Edit: Adding Hudl link.

I gather he’s originally from Mitchell, NE. Looks like a true freshman, four years to play three.

It will be interesting to see staffs approach with late offers (especially JUCO) and portal adds. Last year it tended to mirror ISU portal losses.

I would think we add a 5th RB and portal WR. The spots I am most concerned about building depth that can contribute next season are DL & DB's.

Not knowing how many DL guys are playing quality minutes, don't we return the majority of them? Or do we need a big help in the portal there? Or is it more for depth? When I see an offer like the JUCO DL recently, my mind immediately goes to "Oh, no, who is leaving to the portal?" Need to get out of that frame of mind. But then again, I never dreamt a quality, played alot RB in Sanders would leave either (Sama or not).

I’ve been pretty sure they were going to add a DT in this class for a while—especially since Brown left. The HS kid they had visit last summer committed to North Carolina. I’m kind of wondering if offering a JC kid who can play sooner means they’re going all in on ‘24.

Looks like another late ‘24 offer. Alijah Carnell, 6’5” 290 DL from talent factory Las Vegas Bishop Gorman. P5 offer from KState, visited this weekend.

Looks like the late OV’s this weekend included current commits S Marcus Neal and CB Khijohnn Cummings-Coleman, along with recent offers DL Alijah Carnell (above), Chicago corner David Coffey (post #283), and lengthy, speedy (10.73 100m) and athletic Utah WR Dominic Overby (post #277).

I think it bodes well to get all these guys on campus the weekend before early Cyning Day.

Another late offer. Garrett Rutledge, OL from Council Bluffs Lewis Central. Offers include Army, Fordham and three of the four Dakotas. Apparently also visited.

Size listed ranges from 6’5” 295 to 6’6” 300 to 6’6 1/2” 265. If he signs, we’ll see how ISU lists him.
