Not sure it ever got that far. I think we might of talked to him about weight plans, but don’t think it got any fartherPlease tell me teams weren’t in bidding wars for Saldate.

Would need to change his style big time. One of the most boring wrestlers I've watched.Bockman of Utah Valley is in the portal.
3 time qualifier at 197.
Utah Valley is a Greco hub, isn’t it?Would need to change his style big time. One of the most boring wrestlers I've watched.
Unless they are coming for partial scholarship, I wouldn’t take any of these wrestlers. The only ons a would give a token call to would be Fish but I think our young guys have a higher ceiling. They just need more matches.I'd probably take a look at these guys in the portal:
Zane Licht - NDSU - 165 - Freshman - decently ranked recruit from last years class
Evan Bockman - Utah Valley - 197 - Graduate - He's been a qualifier for the NCAA multiple times, I think he may even have a win or two over Yonger.
Caleb Fish - MSU - 165 - Graduate - I'd take him for a year.
Tyler Martinez - Northern Illinois - 165 - Freshman - has some good credentials including placing at fargo a few times.
Billy Janzer - Rutgers - 197 - Junior - Qualified a few times for NCAA, don't believe he werstled the last few years.
Brant Whitaker - Mizzou - 165 - Junior - Transfer from NC State to Mizzou, was a 3x state champ in mizzou.
Jacob Joyce - Stanford - 125 - Sophmore - was a decently high recruit a few years ago
One of them on the list I’ve heard originally wanted to come to isu because of Carr but never got recruited. Caleb Fish would be nice if he had more than 1 year leftI'd probably take a look at these guys in the portal:

Hmm… Iowa could use a heavy and an upgrade at 141-157. Nebraska needs a heavy and a 157. Minnesota as well. Curious who would be calling that even remotely has the possible pull. What makes you believe it’s Michigan?
