I've seen Wisconsin and now UNI offer free tickets to HS wrestlers.

Makes me wonder why ISU doesn't do this (or if they do, why it isn't publicized). Seems like an easy way to get more people in the door. Let 'em sit in the lower east bleachers (opposite the students/band).

I didn’t think you could offer to high school. Middle School & younger wrestling teams get free tickets to Iowa State duals, I believe

Apparently you can, or both of these schools are blatantly breaking the rules.

Wisconsin:

UNI:
High school and youth wrestlers have until 4 p.m. Feb. 9 to get a free ticket by calling (319) 273-5411.

Found it. Perfectly fine, when done this way:

13.7.3.5 Visit Unrelated to Recruitment.
The limitations on providing entertainment to a prospective student-athlete shall not extend to a visit to the institution's campus for a purpose having nothing whatsoever to do with the prospective student-athlete's athletics recruitment by the institution (e.g., band trip, fraternity weekend, athletics team's attendance at a sporting event with the high school coach).

The institution's athletics department or representatives of its athletics interests may not be involved in any way with the arrangements for the visit, other than the institution providing (in accordance with established policy) free admissions to an athletics event on a group basis, rather than personally to the prospective student-athlete. Such admissions may be provided during a dead period.

Interesting they have Gollhofer listed as an "or" with Teske. I'd be shocked if they don't wrestle Teske against Kysen, unless he is banged up and they'd rather have him healthy for March

Me too. Barring an injury (more than just being a little dinged up) it will ABSOLUTELY be Teske.

UNI has been battling injuries.
Teske, Runyon, Yant and now I think Schwab said Gordon might of got dinged in the last dual

Teske has also struggled with weight some this year. The cut to 125 was brutal for him apparently.
I feel for the kid. I wrestled at 125 in high school. The cut now back down to that weight would absolutely be brutal.

Weight has always been a concern with Teske. A little too big to make 125 without a struggle, but too small to be an AA contender at 133

With Biscoglia on the roster and Cory Land coming in next year, I don't think it makes any sense for him to move to 133.

Really sucks when you have a really talented kid that ends up a tweener.

25 - Kysen - 3-0 (I think if Kysen wins off the bat, we may have just won the dual, if not, buckle up)
33 - UNI 3-3
41 - Ian - 6-3 (he'll do what he does)
49 - Jarrett - 9-3 (Degen's "get right" match)
57 - David - TF 14-3 (won't even need the 3rd period)
65 - UNI - 14-7
74 - UNI - 14-10
84 - UNI 14-13
97 - The Cuban Md- 18-13
Hwt - Sam - (beats either of them) 21-13

**** get's weird in the latter half of this one but the Cuban quiets the storm. Sam is wrestling really well right now. I am not worried about him closing it out against either of UNI's heavys (you can't tell me Isley is going to look decent after not going almost all year in that kind of spot.....) .

Judge is good enough not to get majored by Yant.

I agree. I feel like there is a bonus point victory in there for UNI but I don't know where. And if it's at 74, it wont be a major...... So I felt like I needed to put it at 65. I like Judge there to not get majored but all it takes is one turn to open it up and UNI can put you on your back at 65 thru 84 (not worried about coleman though).
