I wonder who we will send to the Southern Scuffle. Can freshmen compete unattached now? Would love to see MJ, Manny, Perryman, and the Frost boys there. Out of the starters, guessing we see Cabanban, Ramazan, maybe Paniro, Kraisser/Judge, and Broderson/Devine. Doubt we see anyone slightly banged up, and will probably rest Carr, Coleman, and Bastida

My best guess is he is trying to brand himself as a personality for the WWE or UFC (whatever route he chooses to go). Still going to be fun when the Clones peak in March and BEAT Penn State :)
FIFY ;)

That is a mis-conception. The pin area goes about half way down the back. It isn’t just the shoulder blades.

Well, the rule book says scapulae, which are shoulder blades:

Art. 1. Fall. A fall occurs when any part of both shoulders or part of both
scapulae of either wrestler is held in contact with the mat for one second. The
one-second count (one-thousand-one) shall be a silent count by the referee
and shall start only after the referee is in position to observe that a fall is
imminent.

If he wouldn't have grabbed his neck so god damn hard, we wouldn't even be having this conversation.

I'd just like to point out how impressed I was with Marcus holding on to win that match. Being up 6-3 against Brooks with 1 period to go is still extremely dangerous. Smartest move Marcus made was going for the reversal instead of going to his feet when Brooks was trying to cut him.

So…I’ve watched the Coleman roll through on Brooks about 15 times from multiple angles. I hear so many people saying he pinned Brooks, but I don’t see it. It was a GREAT move, and one I think was called accurately. Anybody but Brooks is getting stuck, which is a testament to just how good Brooks is.
When Coleman gets that reverse half, Brooks is pinned. Top of the shoulders to the bottom of the scapula is what I've always been told, and that was most definitely it to my old eyes.

Got me out of my chair and texting buf and stu over it.
