At Baylor, we were 7-27 from 3 point range while Baylor was 12-21. This has to be very different tonight.

If Baylor hits their conference average of .365 from 3 they get 7 - that's 15 fewer points. If ISU hits their conference average of .375 they get 10 - that's 9 more points. That is very simplisitic but if that happens it is a very different game.

1. We have to match their physicality whether the refs intervene or not.
I agree with your #'s 2-4, but we can't just flip a switch and put our "physical" players on the court to duel with Smith & Egbo! We don't have any! Plus, I fear if Morgan and Bea "get overtly physical", they'll be in foul trouble so quick it'll make our heads spin - I don't want to see much Izzy versus Queen & Nalissa!

They're going to dominate inside - that's a given. When the shot goes up, we put a body on a body and limit the number of second chances they get. Everybody on the boards - no standing around and watching!

On offense, we move the ball quickly, hit our threes, drive hard to the hole when the opportunity arises and the crowd enthusiasm carries us to victory. I actually feel good about this one, as Mulkey is no longer around to bully the refs and we should get a fair shake at home! Let's Go State!!!

Interesting article from the Bears. Stat graphics are great for visual learners!

That WNIT game was part of a 6:00/8:30 doubleheader with the men, and I believe it was one ticket for both games.
The best part is they did not have to give out free slices of pizza! The fans were told to leave their knitting needles at home.

They better Fire up a couple Extra Clone Cone Machines!!!!!

The lines were bad Saturday when there were only about 5,000 people there. Can't imagine what the lines will be like tonight.

You are correct. I think I was in middle school then, and the whole family went. Great time. Best seats I had ever had in Hilton, 4 or 5 rows behind the visitor's bench.

Wish I could be there tonight, but too far for me. Will be watching a delayed recording when I'm off work though. Go Cyclones!

Yes they have half the concessions as the men usually so if you want ice cream you better get it on the way in otherwise you're not getting any.

Wasn’t Lindsey Medders in that 2004 WNIT game? Weird I think ESPN told us she was playing for TOE.
