Kansas just got the refs to help them again against tech. Not sure how they can do it every year without the coaches going nuts on them

Yup. The conference and their officials have officially put the rest of the conference on notice that KU..............WILL.......win the Big 12.

You better be able to get them by double figures because if it's close.............the officials will find a way. They have the last two games.

With the proper calls there is more than an even chance KU now is 0-2 in the conference.

After watching both games it's like they don't care who see's it anymore.

So why the hell did KSU/TEX become an NBA game tonight?
Couple things stand out big time.

KSU shot 33 FTs and made 31 of them (94%)

They went 13 for 24 from three (54%)

Do those two things ALONG with shooting 60% overall from the field and you're probably going to beat anyone.

Meanwhile, Texas shot 85% from the FT line (22 of 26) and 41% from three (11 for 27). Those stats alone you'd usually beat anyone...but KSU was better on both stats.

KSU previous game at home vs West Virginia they went 3 of 16 from 3 and were 21 of 34 for free throws. That is a crazy difference game to game.

My Cats were on fire. 31-33 from free throw line. 60% shooting. 13-24 from three. All time scoring records. It won't happen again. But it was great fun watching Austin burn. Outside of the squawks, it couldn't have happened to a finer school than @texas.
I think Texas is overrated with or without Beard

I think most everyone here is ok with other Big XII teams having their best game against Texas.

I would love to time travel back to yesterday and tell Texas fans that their beloved Longhorns, playing in Austin, would shoot 51.5% from the field, 40.7% from 3, 84.6% from the free throw line, score 103 points, have more steals and more blocks. You wouldn't have been able to wipe the smiles off their faces.....well, until later that night anyway.

Texas has two incredible scoring guards in Hunter and Carr, but they aren't particularly good defensive guards. Keyontae Johnson and Markquis Nowell were fabulous last night. Guard play was the difference in that game. Plus, K-State was quicker at several positions allowing them to win playing Texas's up-tempo game.
