TT Starks had to be a top 100 in 2015? I know our Seanna Johnson was not. She was under the radar the same year.
All three of our recruits that year (Johnson, Starks, Burkhall) had a 90 grade, which was equal to the #100 recruit. So they were all possibly just outside the top 100, or perhaps ESPN gives out tons of 90s.

Big miss for Gophers was Ayoka Lee. Not highly rated at #147 but all the Gophers needed was an offer to get her and they did even do that under Stolling. Whalen has so far sucked as a game coach but at least nailed down some decent home grown players for 2022.

They were never really in the running for Paige Bueckers so I don't count that as a miss.

The Iowa center is physical and accurate. MN kept her sister but let the Iowa center out.

Ha, totally spaced that off. Interesting that there ended up being two not highly regarded post players that have really excelled in Big 10 and Big 12 play. Good stories for both of them. I do like interviews with CzInano, she's a bit of a chatter box and personable.

When Minnesota picked up Katie Borowicz in 2021, she was the first ESPN top-100 recruit from Minnesota to stay in-state in 10 years.

55 Mallory Heyer 94 Minnesota

90 Savannah White 91 Wisconsin

2021:
42 Jenna Johnson 93 Utah
49 Kendall Coley 93 Nebraska
53 Adalia McKenzie 92 Illinois

Hard to believe that Ranke was considered a top 100 recruit. She didn't live up to that billing at Kansas State. In fact, she seemed to regress. She averaged 11.1 as a freshman and dropped down to a 9 PPG average as a senior.

Crooks is not on the final U18 roster announced yesterday.

Side note: future Cyclone Shantavia Dawkins is one of 14 players currently at Canada's U18 camp fighting for 12 spots.

High honor to be a participant. 30 participants total from the Classes of 2022 and 2023. Audi is 17. Class of 2023 and could be a candidate for the team next year. Interesting that Audi was listed at 6’4”.

I guess number 32 on the other team had a little bit of size, but the other girls defending were tiny

Audi is smart and tough. And always looking to improve. And just a great person. Fennelly has another great weapon.

For some context, Cy Select also got smoked 70-35 in that game by Metro Stars Prior (MN) so it's pretty select highlights. They were already down 39-13 when Crooks was shooting those free throws. Didn't see Stanford bound Sunaja Agara from the opposing team in the highlights. Also no Liv McGill, a top MN PG prospect. Likely already on the bench resting for the next game or maybe not playing this tournament, guessing bench time.

Edit: Saw a McGill highlight video from same game. Looks like they literally ran the Wolves off the court.

Saw Audi at the KwikStar in Emmetsburg a couple of weeks ago. Didn't say anything didn't want to seem stalkerish.

There is nothing wrong/stalkerish in saying something simple like “good luck at Iowa state, hope you have a great time” Depending on her personality she may even engage in some harmless chit chat about ISU bball.

True story, stayed overnight in Ft Dodge last summer for business. TV Remote was dead. Kid at the front desk came up and replaced it. Didn't have any cash for a tip so I offered him a KwikStar cinnamon roll. He was ecstatic, said it's the best tip he's received in the year he's worked there.
