It would be hilarious if Purdue kept the foot on the gas in the 2nd half and won the game 102-40, but you know that won't happen. Purdue will slow it down and try to run clock, and sub in their 2nd and 3rd stringers.
I still would like this to be a 30 point win for Purdue

Most conference coaches don't want to do this to one another. I'm sure Purdue will gladly take a 15+ pt win with no injuries and some rest for their starters, and in addition, not humiliate Franny too much so he can keep his job, and Purdue can continue to slaughter them year in and year out.

If Iowa had somehow managed to actually shoot the same percentage from 3point range, they would still be behind by 13 points.

Do they have recruits who aren't season ticket holders or family?

Not really. That what makes the look at what Fran has done side look silly. He has taken a bunch of kids raised as Iowa fans and a few legacy players and made the team average.

Iowa is 5-2 against Purdue (now 5-3) over the last 3 years.

At least Garza has a heartbeat. Gotta give that kid some credit.

I still can't imagine what this score would be if Purdue still had Swanigan.
