They'll probably move us up a level and match us up with Georgetown next year.
That's usually how the SEC challenge went, we'd get Ole Miss and Vanderbilt on the road when we were good then Tennesse and Auburn in Ames when we sucked.

Pretty sure both Creighton and Marquette lose a lot of their roster. Wouldnt mind seeing one of them early while their roster is still trying to gel.
That's not surprising when you have 16 teams in one conference and 11 in the other. Hopefully this allows us to schedule another Power 5 opponent instead.
This won’t be a P5 opponent. Maui and at Iowa will be enough to spin this as this is a new team, building rapport etc that was sold this year.

You've got to think FOX wants a Big 10/Big 12 Challenge series.
This is opposite of what they should do. They should be building it up as “power two” and developing some sort of champions league tournament that is played into.
Don't know why this didn't happen already. ACC and SEC, all ESPN conferences, have set theirs up.
This coming year is the first where FOX has a Big 12 package and, to be fair, we have no idea how much inventory they bought. Appears to be a closely guarded secret for some reason.
