Did they get a bunch of pins? I had no idea they were having a strong tourney. I stopped following the team standing for awhile and then was like what in the hell?
So it’s kinda crazy to read but At 65 and 74 Mantanona’s both had back to back pins.
Roberts got a pin at 84
Woodley got a TF at 97

Terukina has Vega of SDSU

Redding has Price of SDSU. Lost 4-2 before

Parker has Demas of OU (Finals)

Degen has Lara of UNI. Lost via pin before

Carr has Franek of NDSU (Finals)
Judge gone

Broderson gone

Colbray Has Geer of OSU.

Coleman has Sloan of SDSU. Lost 7-3 before

Gremmel has Adam’s of Wyoming (Finals)

So our backside has some revenge they need to do.

Any thoughts on everyone’s chances tomorrow?

Terukina has a tough path.Vega might be his best shot at a win Sunday. I’m guessing 6th place.
Redding will have trouble with Price, but if the other match holds to seed, 5th place is a good bet for him.
I think Parker repeats as champion.
If Degen can get past Lara, I believe he gets 3rd. If Lara beats him again, I still think he gets 5th.
Carr wins - no question.
Colbray - I’ve quit trying to predict how Sam will wrestle. Anything from 3rd to 6th wouldn’t surprise me.
Coleman is looking great but I can’t see him beating Sloan. I think 5th or 6th is most likely.
I don’t know why, but I think Gremmel wins this thing tomorrow. Maybe I’m just too optimistic but I think he looks hungry and wants this one.

Just my opinions - any insights out there?

Agree with this. Especially Sammy. I do think Coleman can beat Sloan but he will have be tough and stay out of bad spots.

I found myself today watching backside matches the most emotionally invested in Degens matches. Man, I want that kid to win in the worst way. He’s one tough SOB and if this is it for him for health reasons, I want him to go out as close to on top as possible. His matches are anything but pretty but he clearly will have left his singlet in a better place.

Terukina I think gets 3rd
Redding gets 5th
Parker Wins
Degen ends up 6th
Carr wins
Colbray ends up 4th
Coleman 5th
Big G wins

really want to see Big G get this. Also want to see Terukina just make that step forward by running the backside. I think Degen is just not there after what I seen today but willing to be proven wrong. Colbray who knows just figure he will do Colbray things. Coleman has a challenge with Sloan but man he’s looking hungry so hopefully he proves me wrong

You will continue to reinforce that you have no idea what you are talking about
To be fair I think any casual fan can see Degen is wrestling dinged up and Robinson is really good and has a lot of potential. Again not sure why you’re making what he said a big deal. I think he was just saying if Degen isn’t full strength let the best guy go. I also think Coleman takes out Sloan.

I wasn't able to follow at all yesterday. Who beat Wittlake? I thought he'd walk through the field at 165.

Thanks for your insight. I don't think it's a stretch, but did you consider we might be in 1st place if Robinson wrestled?
No I don’t think we we would be in 1st. What is costing us is zero points at 2 weights. Degen earned this chance and that’s something we gotta get behind. Cam will get his chances and I’m excited for that.

Weber from NDSU in SV-1. I did too. One of the biggest if not the biggest upsets of the tourney.
Wittlake does not open up in his matches. It leaves him vulnerable to stuff like what happened. He likes to work hands and head and just stays upper body. Maybe its his Greco coming through. With so few data points this year has been a weird one, and the NCAA tourney will be crazy. I predict many upsets if you go by straight seeding.
