Drawing an opponent instead of a bye in the first round will help.
Kysen had a good week of practice last week and beat Ramazan 2 matches to 0 in wrestle offs is what I was told
If these seeds hold up, you can’t ask for better draws for 125, 133, 149, 165, and 184. Those are definitely winnable upset matches to make the semis.
Sorry for dumb question... we only get one wrestler at each weight class? Coach selected or other method?
Wrestling is pretty easy compared to other sports. Most of the time it is determined during preseason wrestle offs and doesn’t change after that. If there are two wrestlers who are close, it’s usually a combination of head-to-head wrestle offs and who wrestles better in tournaments. Usually you can get a feel for who would do better for the team. Example this year is Coleman and Bastida.

I wanted to drop here what coach said about allocations for this year's NCAA's.
I like hearing Dresser say everyone is healthy and ready to go.
I hope our guys all stay that way and pull some upsets to win a nice Big 12 title.

Friday & Tulsa can't get here fast enough. Called a couple bar/restaurants, most taking reservations up to 10 at a table. I don't think they really know what their Covid rules are in Tulsa. One girl could tell me that a county over didn't have a mask mandate.
Gfeller back down at 141 could be a tough out for some guys. If his weight is fine he could easily be top 3. Where did you see he’s wrestling?
