Nobody really cares about media days anymore, even most media personalities. With coaches going on podcasts, doing tours, interfacing with collectives, etc, media days is probably the least informative setting nowadays.

I’m good with them moving some stuff around as long as the hoops tournament stays in KC.

There's really no city better suited, with the combination of central location, being the right city size to host it but not so large\eventful that it disappears, and being in a part of the country that really supports its college basketball well.

I wouldn't mind if the Big 12 football championship went to Vegas occasionally. Or even rotate between KC > Dallas > Vegas > Phoenix > Orlando

Duh!
My only issue is conceding the TX market to the SEC in anyway. They are having their upcoming media days in DFW.
