Hint: Never use the Red River Shoot Out as a bench mark for either Texas or Oklahoma. That game is almost always really close and very unpredictable.

Fair, but I hate them for favoring Texas, so they're stupid dummies.
Those are fun to read. And it brings back all of the enthusiasm I had going into the season. Dang I wish we hadn't had the game-1 cancellation!
Really like the Clones against run heavy teams, like KU, KSU, the rest of the year. Defense has been really good, but the rush defense has been really good all year.
Regardless of what happens the rest of the way, I hope we can finally beat the purple kitties. I retain an unhealthy level of anger over what happened down there last year.
I may have abused the door of my truck during the last stretch of that game. What a robbery.
I still get pretty upset...if KSU has less than 100 yards entering the 4th quarter this year, ISU had better be up by 50.
Will there even be enough possessions to score 50?
Even if our defense has a WVU game like success, our offense also tends to want to eat clock.
Texas has looked impressive since Maryland, but I’m still not buying it. No offense Chris, but you are a HUGE Herman apologist and have been calling for them to be back since he got there. Bartoo is still calling it smoke and mirrors. I think we are very similar teams and it will be a hell of a game. IMO, if they make the top 4, they will get demolished.
I don’t disagree, but how correct are those lines? For example, what were the lines for those games just 5 days ago? The team didn’t change much in 5 days but the perception did.
Normally I’d say 7 weeks in the lines are fairly solid but the Purdy factor as well as the cancellation impacts may have distorted things. I definitely think this is at least an “9 win quality” team/roster, but we’ve already used our mulligans on Iowa and TCU.

Same. And not just last year, but like the last 5 have been ********. I bought tickets for this game weeks ago, knowing that no matter how Iowa St's season went, I was going to this game.
I may also be secretly cheering for K St to some how get to 5 wins before that game, so it can be Iowa St that keeps them from going to a bowl game.
