Hopefully they have the capital to make it most of the year without profits. I doubt it will open until September or October, and they are basically relying on outside seating from the looks of it. They will miss most of the biking season, which I imagine would have been a huge chunk of their customers.

House Divided: Apparently on Dows street in Ely. In the open lot to the west and on the same side of the street from Odie's (or directly across the street from the Ely Public Library). By the setback from the street, it looks like they are planning for a rather large patio area.

For those not of this area, the bike trail south out of Cedar Rapids currently ends in Ely. Plans for it to extend to Solon (and thence to Iowa City) have never come to fruition. Odie's has always been the destination in Ely (good fried appetizers, but a fairly pedestrian beer selection). Since bike riders are notorious beer snobs (yes, I fit that description), a destination like a brewery is a welcome addition.
