A few years ago, I would have been all over the Nutcup idea. Matt Campbell has ruined it for me. I now really think we can be optimistic without needing to strap on a cup.
How about something like Founders Harvest Ale? Hazy, malty, a little swee
If the goal is to have a beer that tastes like a sweaty butthole, then you should go with an IPA

I'd have never guessed that sweaty buttholes smell or taste like pine needles and onions. I mean, I kind of get the onion part but the pine needles? Who eats those? Same people who drink IPAs, I guess.
In my opinion Barntown brewed the best Oktoberfest I had last fall, they had a great pumpkin beer, and their amber (red), brown, and golden are awesome. I know from another thread the NEIPA is popular. Barntown is just down the street from my house, so I hope the CyFan beer will be on tap all fall.
I once saw the CW-truckmobile parked in front of New American in Ankeny - are they the brewmasters?
I vote Stout! (can say "it is like the D-line Campbell & Co will build") or Porter but assume that would not win a plurality of votes especially with the CW--Busch Light trump card, so will just say not a sour or gose!
Steele Jantz Stout. Make the initial taste very sweet, and the aftertaste a bit bitter. But roasty enough you keep coming back and just can't put it down.
