Pretty broad question.

Do you like porters that are sweet, maple, pastry, etc.

BTW-My prediction for 2019 is that NEIPA's will remain hot but I think pastry porters/stouts will really become popular.

If you live in Iowa and like those pastry type stouts, LakeTime has been killing it. Oreo Speedwagon and Peanut Butter porter are usually easy to find.

I get the impression pastry stouts have overtaken NEIPAs as the hot ticket beer these days. When Pulpit release cans of both, the pastry stout always sells out first

I bought a Shiner sampler 12 pack, just to try something different. It had Shiner Frost, Candied Pecan Porter, and Morello Dark Cherry. The first two were pretty good, but the dark cherry was like drinking a bad cough syrup.

So I had the Flagchip Barntown/Pulpit collab and its pretty good but the kind of beer I can only have one of and that’s enough. Barntown also has Pulpit’s Loopy Lynn on tap which is excellent.

The big ass money stout scares me a little at 17%.
