Cyclones in the XFL

I haven't found a thread for this yet, but thought some of you may be interested.

The XFL 2023 reboot is holding their player draft.

Willie Harvey and Mike Rose were both selected by the St. Louis Battlehawks, who will be coached by Rocco Becht's dad.

I'll update the thread if I see anyone else get taken.

I think the thing I like about this iteration (at least as of right now) is Dwayne Johnson is treating this XFL as like a "G-League" for the NFL. It's not about competing with the NFL (like Vince always seemed to want to do); it's about giving players the second chance to get there that he himself never got.

I agree. It looks a little weird at first, but the end result looks like a legitimate kickoff return without full-speed collisions of normal kickoffs.
