Hey, am I overlooking a special function of this bulletin board?

I see the 'Ignore List' in the settings of this board, but would appreciate a way to track those posters who I consider only add garbage to the existing threads. Adding one stupid comment isn't a crime, but when a poster consistently adds garbage that makes the threads pages longer than necessary, well, it is those posters who I would wish to eliminate from my viewing. I just need a tool to track the frequency each poster shows their stupidity, then when bringing up the list, a little checkbox next to it that asks, "add this user to your ignore list?"

Hope that this function exists.

If you go to a thread in its forum, you can click and see who has posted the most.
You could use that to build the list, I think. Couple more steps than you're talking about, but effective.

If there was only serious posting, there'd be about 30 new posts per day, and nearly no one would visit because you could check in every week or so and catch everything.

That's exactly right. I understand for serious topics, but mam some folks just take the net too seriously.
