Drake - concert

Not sure if anyone is looking to go to the Drake & Future concert tomorrow night at 7:30 @ Wells Fargo but we bought tickets back in May and now my wife had to switch schedules with another co-worker and we won't be going.

I have two together in the lower level, section 112. Row S. Face value is $350 w/ fees. I'll take $300. I can meet anytime after 7:30 tonight or anytime tomorrow in Ankeny. PM if interested.

I think you need to step back and take some perspective. One of the best ever, to a certain small group of people in Des Moines. Paul Mccartney sold out almost instantly and practically shut down downtown with police barricades etc. Garth Brooks sold enough tickets to 4 consecutive shows at the Well, george strait sold out in like 5 minutes I think. The Who, The Eagles, even bieber. You can still easily get tickets to the drake concert from ticket master. Drake might be real neat and all but one of the best shows ever? No. Thats silly

You just lost all credibility with that statement. It isn't fair to compare Drake to the Beach Boys, Jackson 5, Garth Brooks, etc. he's 29 years old. "Views" (his latest work) is the first and only album to have over 1 Billion streams on Spotify and Apple Music. 1 B i l l i o n. He has more #1 Billboard hits than any rapper, ever. Drake is the biggest artist in music right now, and it's really not even close.

Drake is huge now, but comparing him with acts like Paul McCartney is just useless at this juncture. Let's see if Drizzy is still doing numbers like Paul in 30-40 years. Maybe he will, who knows. Plus the best concert in Des Moines would easily be Bloodhound Gang if they ever play/played here.

They did! I went to the "Hooray for Boobies" tour at SuperToad in something like 2000.
