Just for the record, Number 5 is always a supposedly good team that has just had an embarassing loss, not necessarily one that they consider one of the 10 worst teams.
I wouldn't say that it is reserved for a GOOD team. It always exposes either a BCS team that was exposed and lost a terrible game, making them laugh worthy. (Doesn't mean that the BCS team was good) Or a Non BCS pretender getting exposed.
It usually is reserved for the most pathetic performance from a single BCS team, but with the weakness of the B1g and the 2-4 B1G teams working at becomeing regulars on the list, Its been a little different this year. I think that they included MD and KU just to round things out and to not pick on their precious B1G losers.
