Have you thought about taking pictures of your food and posting them on social media? All the cool kids are doing it.

My project tomorrow - taking the perfect picture of spaghetti and meatballs. I'll have to get an instagram account tonight and start practicing with the filters. This is going to be amazing!

Struggle is extreme, but it is okay for people to miss something that provides an escape for them. I’m baffled by people who don’t get that and get all judgmental.

I understand the circumstances and reasoning for cancellations, obviously there's prorities. In this specific case, for me a more accurate word is probably "temporarily jarring." It isn't only an absence of seeing the tournament games and the lead-up (i.e. Selection Sunday) but it's also intertwined with a yearly tradition that I also associate with the change of seasons and it's also a mini-vacation I've planned each spring for like 20 years. Some aspects of it has as much to do with anticipation as anything.

I'm curious to see what ESPN decides to play in it's channels here in the coming weeks. They won't be able to just rerun the SVP Show and Get Up on a 24 hour loop.

Last night TNT replayed the NBA All Star game. ESPN and the other sports networks should be able to find some good stuff from the archives to fill air time.

I can admit the BTN does things really well with their advertising et al.

Currently showing their 'Big Ten Elite' for basketball teams.

I've resurrected some old DOS games to play inside the DosBox emulator: Dungeon Hack, Epic Pinball, and Wizard of Wor. Along with playing World of Warships, that's my weekend entertainment for the next few weeks.

I get the "I'll get caught up on.....", but what will you do in no-sports week 3?

For sure, documentaries!

Golf Channel was showing 'Shell's Wonderful World of Golf".

I'm guessing the episode was from 55-60 years ago.

Palm Beach Gardens in the summer, none of the golfers wearing hats and only a few of the spectators. Florida that time of year is like the surface of the sun.

Greens looked to be about 50 on the stimp because back then it was probably the only way to keep them alive.

Evil Knievel, why aren't his ABC Wide World of Sports jumps/antics on a continuous loop? He was the XGames in the 1970s. And he wrecked more than he landed so that was good too.

Everyone needs to see this at least once in their life.

In 1973, ABC-TV in the United States debuted a two-hour special featuring ten top athletes from ten different sports competing in events that were not their own.

Showing my age, but this show was great back in the days... Anyone know how to watch any reruns???
