They’re doing it wrong. You don’t bring in free pizza to get people to come. You build the takeout pizza place at the arena. So when the crowd is a bit sparse, you just say we forgot to make your pizza when you called. We’ll get that made right away for free. How about you take a seat over there while you wait.
People will come for pizza. They will not come for Iowa basketball.
Iowa fans now have a goat in 3 sport’s currently. They love throwing that word around so much that this is a given!
We know you’ve never set foot in Iowa City, but now we know you’ve never been to Ames either.
Fran is such a great ambassador for the University. No one in a similar position can quite lose his **** as throughly, screaming and frothing as the face of EIU basketball.

I think Dr. Tom's NCAA tournament wins is in no jeopardy of being passed by Fran. Davis was basically pushed out as he couldn't get them past the Sweet 16 and now they have a coach that struggles to even get out of the 1st round when they make it.
He has more sweet 16s than Fran too…
Ideas for the Fran statue:
-Fran throwing chair.
-Fran kicking computer off the announcer table.
-Fran yelling at Marble right next to his face (add Marble statue next to him)
-Fran crouched down and screaming like he is about to shoot off into space.
-Fran being held back by his assistants (add assistant statue)
-Fran sitting on a couch at home watching TV (call this one "NCAA second weekend")
-Fran throwing chair.
