Damnit. That sucks. Last year Wallace just before the NCAA's and now Cox. That is some **** luck.
That was brutal to watch. Noticeable difference in the game now.
@JusHappy2BeHere , didn't mean to skip you. Just usually see you in the Cave. Sorry about that.
Lauren Cox does not have and acl tear. It is estimated she will be ok in about 2 months. She was walking without crutches yesterday and other than the burdensome wrap she appeared just fine. Doctor brought the good news late yesterday evening.
MCL sprain and bone bruise. No surgery so good news for her.

She was VERY fortunate it was not much, much worse. With her screams we heard on the tv, we thought for sure something had torn. #luckystars
Unless I am forgetting someone, Cyclones have been pretty fortunate the last number of years to have avoided the ACL bug or other serious injuries. Last I can think of is TeeTee Starks in 2015.

We went through a cycle of them for a couple of years. Tocarra Ross back in the mid-late 00’s was one. She was followed by another teammate but I can’t remember who. Think it may have been Wieben.
Ross just wasn't the same the next year. She seemed to have a particularly difficult recovery, but she eventually got back to her old form and has had a very successful career playing overseas (which she is still doing). The Ross injury happened right in front of me just seconds before the half at William's Arena.
Starks wasn't an ACL tear. It was some other type of knee injury that had been lingering. "Articular cartilage damage" whatever that is.Unless I am forgetting someone, Cyclones have been pretty fortunate the last number of years to have avoided the ACL bug or other serious injuries.
