Was talking with my former boss before the game. He was a defensive lineman at Texas A&M during the mid-late 90's and told me we could expect to see improvement every week. He knows quite a bit about Mangino and said to me: "people forget that Mangino is just looking at the players he is working with and figuring out what each of them can do. If someone is not able to do something, he'll replace them on the same play the following week with someone who can. After a few games, he'll know exactly what all his players are capable of doing and use them to their best potential".
