as an underclassman in 2010-2012 i recall folks checking out the dance club above Chasers.
also fondly remember early days of AJ's beat the clock. not really FAC since it was Saturdays, but a riot nonetheless.
It was called Element. They had a patio which was nice in the summer.
Seemed we always ended up there at the end of FAC. $5 for a pitcher of whiskey and coke, after being out all afternoon…
If you didn't have at least one nasty ass free FAC hotdog you weren't doing it right.
Element was on the main floor, the upstairs was NV Night Club, and basement bar was called chasers. It definitely was a frat bar.
There used to be one just off of Welch on Chamberlain, called Club Chamberlain. It was there my freshman year but gone by sophomore year and turned into a bar. Not that I didn't do my part trying to keep them in business.
Don't worry the copious alcohol swishing around in your stomach sterilized the questionable meat hotdogs.
You may have been consuming them wrong.
If I lived thru free appetizer nights at the Fox Lounge, those Mickeys hot dogs will never get @JM4CY
So much different now but back in my day it was in the building next to the firehouse.
