Our wins would be against:
Wyoming, Iowa, North Texas, Michigan State (remember they still suck), Illinois, NW, Minnesota, Purdue. I think that we would have a shot at Nebraska also.
Like I said, the Big 10 is not good. Sorry you guys don't have powerhouses Indiana, Rutgers and Maryland on your schedule. What a joke.
They aren't used to guys having enough talent to do more than one thing. Lanning is a stud and will make an impact wherever he plays.
Iowa has had more talent than Iowa State every year since 2001 or so.

Play reserve role in both sides of the ball or start at LB would be my guess.
Yikes, Tavian Banks' single game rushing record at Iowa may be in danger inside JTS in September.
Certainly your school doesn't pay their head coach all that money to have one of your best 11 players be a reserve player.
Maybe, it is your Super Bowl. I can't remember his name but I know Sage Rosenfels backup transferred to LB his Senior year after always being a QB and did really well.
You are missing that for 6'2 230 he's one of the best athletes on the team. He's not the best QB on the team. You don't waste your best athletes by having them sit on the bench.
Which would be why they're trying to find a way to get him on the field.
