With all of the supposed interest in Tang, how did he last 18 years at Baylor?
Over the years, Tang has been offered several jobs at lower-level programs and passed on them. It's noteworthy also that Tang is a minority and hiring minorities has only recently become a "thing." K-State had a stated objective of doing just that. Had it not been Tang, I believe it would have been another minority.

Tang has seen K-State rockin' at its best with Dean Wade, Rodney McGruder, Michael Beasley, and others. He said he was taken with the environment. He knows what it takes to win in the B12. He's been recruiting in these demographics for a long time. His staff is from this conference's footprint, mostly Texas. So, there are many logical reasons for him wanting this job over others, like Missouri.

We'll have to see if it comes together, or not. Several players have left the squad over the past week. So, he's cleaning house.

Surly we get it you have a hard on for Tang, you don't need to keep justifying the hire. We will see how it goes.

This is when Surly will reply pretending to be a chick.
That's rather sexist, don't you think?

Surly, not tolling, but what is the word on the street. Is Tang pushing out Weber's players or are they leaving because they are not sure thy want to play for Tang? Any opinion?

We'll see what Surly says, but Tang wanted Pack, badly.
First recruiting attempt is a swing and miss.
I've always had some reservations about Tang in a public university setting. He won't have the built in advantages that come with being at a private school with a unique religious draw. He might work out, but he certainly has a lot to prove in a new environment.
