Deace
Deace is saying this morning that Iowa State is the only remaining Big 12 school to come out a loser on the latest deal.
It's amazing how he's turned an extra $7-$10 million dollars/year ifor ISU nto a bad thing. Yes, it's true that the increase is even more for UT and OU, but we now have a situation where Paul Rhoads will have the financial backing to compete on a much more level playing field with the coach across the field. ISU's football stadium will now look like a major college stadium and Rhoads will be able to continue recruiting from Texas. I'm confident that given this financial windfall, Rhoads will have the amunition to significantly improve ISU's relative standing in Big 12 football.
I was expecting to turn on the radio this morning and hear Deace concede how he really blew another prediction when he said 24 hours ago that the Big 12 was still going to implode. But I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
