The way that drive was going... that's a victory for the Lions. Now go put 7 up on them!
Just about anytime the Lions hold an offense to 3 is a victory for them.

DET stopped going to Montgomery and it's perplexing af. RB2 Gibbs fumbles and leads to SF TD. Montgomery & DET OL were owning line of scrimmage. Should've kept running it with #5
I am a Lions fan and would be if not for Purdy.Dan Campbell won a lot of games this year by being aggressive, but tonight it cost him the Super Bowl unfortunately.
Detroit absolutely dominated this game physically on both sides of the ball, and handed the game to SF. I’d be throwing up if I were a Lions fan.
Dropped passes. Gibbs fumble. Not taking easy FG opps when you had them. Horrible overpursuing/angles on defense. Just complete falling apart.SF is the better team, because the better team makes the needed plays.
But man Detroit screwed themselves by simply not catching footballs.
You sadist.I'd like to see the reaction at Ford Field when they didn't convert that 4th down.

I thought the first one was stupid. They came out of halftime up 24-7, they held SF to a FG on its opening possession, 24-10. They could've wiped out that SF FG by kicking it themselves, gone back up by 17. I get that DC has been aggressive all season and likes to go for it on 4th but that was a stupid call IMO.The 2nd 4th down failure was the only one I had issue with.
The other one still kept SF back deep and from there Detroit just dissolved.
