Thomas finished with 12 points, 8 assists(!!!), and 5 rebounds, I believe. Looked much more aggressive than the Matt Thomas we're used to seeing. If he can be a reliable option off the bench I really think this team can do some serious damage.

He does remind me of Fred with his versatility. I think he can be a real difference maker this year.
No, he doesn't need to give up his 3's. He's had his struggles, but he can be VERY effective from outside...and his being a threat from there forces teams to come out and guard him. That opens up the rest of his game...and spreads the court for the other players who are great at taking advantage of that. Where he's gotten so much better, is that he can penetrate, handle the ball, and find the open guy off the dribble now. He's also gotten to be a very good defender and solid rebounder....just plays a solid all around game.
Thomas looked impressive- played aggressively but also under control, I'd like to see him drive more to the basket this season
Lol, he went 2-6, should have been 3-7 ( which is good ), but had his foot on the line on his last make....let's not make silly statements
He had eight assists and would have had more if some of our new guys had been awake. Very solid performance.
Maybe CF will go crazy this year and support all of our team? It could happen.:unsure:
