I hope Moody takes this and learns and becomes a better person and player because of it. I have always been awed by her talent, but something is lacking, and having a good team with lots of people that compete with you could bring out the best in Moody or she could punt and give up. I hope it is the best.

The whole Bingley thing needs to be ignored. Wasn't her dad the annoying punk that ran her out of the program and then came on here and complained about Fennelly?

No. I got to know her father and he was VERY complimentary of Bill. He said over and over how thankful he was that Bill went out of his way to find Emiah a place to land that fit her. As for why she left...one of the causes is directly related to Moody.

Thanks for the confirmation, D. This is what I understood from the beginning. Hence my long term concerns about the attitudes of the two individuals involved.

i heard the same thing about BF from her Dad. He did not diss any player either, but did say her leaving had nothing to do with playing time or school. He wished the best for the program and its devoted fans.

Thanks, Cous. Very appreciative of this info.

I'm going to miss see her clank layups off the bottom of the rim.

I kid (kind of). She's was athletic, but I always felt she was a bit ball hoggish and would try to almost play street ball instead of the offense Bill likes.

I hope she can straighten it out and contribute to the team in her last season here, but I really don't think the team is losing a ton without her. Certainly not losing any leadership.

Twitter feed-she will resume practice today, but not play Sunday. I want these kids to succeed on and off the Court. I can't get my head around what it must be like to be a Div 1 player.

Bill said today that the meeting with Moody went well. She will return to practice, although she will not play Sunday.

EDIT: beat to the punch by JerseyGirl :)

Additional detail: It sounds like Sunday will be the end of her suspension, but she will not start right away and will have to earn her spot in the starting lineup.

Well let's hope this was a wake up call for her and she goes on to have a great season and is a great teammate. Otherwise, Coach Fen may show her the door.

Let's hope that the end of her suspension is the end of the issue and an end of all of the piling on. There was good information in this thread, but some of it just seemed like piling on. Let's remember going forward that she is still a Cyclone.

I am a fan of Nikki's and I always wish her the best, and believe that she is going to be great. She'll have her off days, who doesn't?
