New K-State AD

Kannsas State has hired Gene Taylor, Deputy AD at Iowa, as the new athletic director. Prior to serving at Iowa, Taylor was the AD at North Dakota State and guided the Bison from Div. II to Div. I.

McCaffrey would be an excellent fit there as well although I hope they NEVER get rid of Weber. Reminds it is time to make my payment to the 'Keep Bruce' campaign...

JRE, you are correct when you state that Laird Veatch is a real nice guy. He is also a tremendous fund raiser. Most Cat fans would like to see him stay on as associate AD which is the position he held under John Currie.
