Subway is horrible as most other fast foods. About 20 years ago I ordered a Turkey sandwich at Subway with nothing else. All I received was a very thin slice of turkey and alot of bread. That was the last time.
Agree with everyone on the carbs and sugar and its a good idea to check carb content on everything you buy and especially breads and boxed processed foods. Replace sandwiches with bread with lettuce.

All true, but its still 100x better than a 1200 calorie, 40grams of fat Big Mac.

From that perspective, its fantastic. Relative choices matter too.
