Hobbs was the last time we had a player this deep in playoffs where he was constantly being mentioned in broadcasts, no offense to KO but the offensive lineman don't get the same air time.

Brock vs DM as key offensive skill position starters in NFC championship is unprecedented as far as I know. DM is absolutely key to Detroit's story, he really helped them grind out the win to get here and tough yards all season.

Coaching staff has faith in Kolar. He seems to be on the field in a lot of key situations, especially for his blocking.

That's a better way of putting it.... He's playing more as a blocking tight end so he doesn't get the same spotlight

From what I can tell Reggie Stephens was on the Ravens practice squad when they won their last one.

Montgomery is going to be entering the typical twilight years for running backs so it would be cool to see him get to the Super Bowl along with the Lions' history while he can.

If it's SF/Ravens at least it's the two best teams and seeing if Purdy and Co. can correct their terrible no good night a month ago would be interesting.

Him and Gibbs are a perfect 1 2 punch. Montgomery's strength and Gibbs' speed. 1960 yards of rushing offense in the regular season for them combined. Unreal.

Akers was signed by the Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted free agent on May 14, 2021.[6] He was waived during final roster cuts on August 31, 2021, but was signed to the team's practice squad the next day.[7][8] Akers was elevated to the active roster on November 28, 2021, for the team's Week 12 game against the Green Bay Packers.[9] Akers won his first Super Bowl ring when the Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI.[10]

On February 15, 2022, Akers signed a reserve/future contract with the Rams.[11] He was waived on August 30, 2022.[12]
