This is the least excited I have been about opening day in several years. I fully expect a sell off of anyone they can get return on or not be able to resign and I think the pitching rotation is setup to be a disaster especially if there are any injuries as they have no starting pitching depth to fall back on right now. I don't care about winning the NL Central this year, this team is not good enough to compete in the playoffs if they make it and I care more about flipping assets for prospects or cheaper MLB ready guys than winning the division then getting embarrassed in the 1st round of the playoffs.

I thought about taking a half day at work but didn't because I was not hyped.

API Failure-restricted content when I log back into my Marqee Sports App that I haven't touched since last fall and watched all the games on last year.

I can watch all the other content on but not the whole reason I got the app which is the actual live game.

Anybody else get this? Prob just more of their **** blackout rules.

Cubs are going to do that thing where they run up the pitch count on the starter early and proceed to spend the next 8 innings not scoring, aren't they. It's their specialty at this point.

I think the only streaming service will be FuboTV. Just announced agreement a few days ago, so not sure how quickly it will be added. I think it may only be regionally based, but that includes most of Iowa & Illinois.

I tuned in and watched Happ strike out with a runner in scoring position with two outs. Of course he was trying to hit a home run with the only swing that he has. Same old Cubbies.

161 more games, we’re fine. That being said, solid 0-7 start by KB and Javy. You have to respect guys who want to be paid like elite players but haven’t proven in multiple years to be top 10 at their own positions.
