IDK why - maybe because I don't want my heart broken again and this win would be MASSIVE - but I've got a feeling of dread in my chest and stomach regarding tonight.

Maybe its because everything seems to line up for a big night and unfortunately in the history of my fandom as a Cubs, Leicester City, Lions and Iowa State fan - more often than not, when things seem to be lining up for a magical night and opportunity - life smacks my fandom in the a** - but... Its not even about competing for a title game appearance. IT'd be massive to just wrap up going bowling, having a really good chance at guaranteeing a winning season and just... not having people think Kansas leapfrogged us.

I'm going to try to fight the pessimism growing inside of me but right now, the excitement - I just have this feeling of Charlie Brown and Lucy., I hope to everything I am wrong.
