It's High School Day so, between those extra 1,000+ and whoever takes advantage of the free admission with their football ticket, Hilton should be rocking today. Go State!

Texas's loss to OU this week will have them pumped to not lose another. Should be a tough one. 4 or 5 sets is my guess.

So we dropped the first 25-16. Getting overpowered from the outside; Landwehr's sets predictable, as usual. Also, this Khat Bell chick is the new Destinee Hooker and she's only a freshman.

Up 12-8 in the second.

We take the second 25-14. Kind of wish there wasn't a break right now to keep up our momentum. Jenson looking pretty dominant at the net and Hahn is pulling up some really good ones.

You know, it's remarkable how much better we seem to do when we set a variety of positions instead of just the outsides over and over and over again.

You have to pass the ball better to give your setter a chance to run different looks. When she is scrambling to get to the pass she pretty much has no choice but to set the outside. Outside hitters didn't play very well tonight but variety on offense is on the passing not the setter.

Just think we are a tall outside hitter short for these big matches.

Says a lot about our size(or lack there of) when Texas can get balls down over the top of our block.
